About Us

New England Pump & Valve, Inc. was started in January 1986 by Odd A Brevik and the Company still owned by Mr. Brevik and his wife.

Mr. Brevik had 20 year as a marine engineer in the merchant marine working mostly on oil and chemical tankers in worldwide trade. He sailed mostly as a 1st engineer in charge of l maintenance of all ship board mechanical equipment.

Mr. Brevik has experience with running boiler and diesel engine power plants, rebuilding of diesel engines, engine room pumps, cargo pumps, hydraulic systems, boiler equipment, valves and piping. New England Pump & Valve, Inc. has replaced miles of cargo, tank washing and hydraulic piping.

New England Pump & Valve, Inc. was started in a 400 sq. ft garage but is now located in a 23000 sq. ft. building owned by MR Brevik and his wife. Our employees are from the US Navy, ship building and then power plant industries. Most of our employees have been with us for over 10 years. We have a lot of pride in what we do an we treat your equipment like it is our own.
